Sexual Kung Fu...success?

This chronicles my successes and failures while working through the "Sexual Kung Fu" exercises purported to help make me a multi-orgasmic man, as prescribed in the book "The Multi-Orgasmic Man" by Chia and Abrams.

Main points of the exercises are centered around
1.  Abdominal breathing
2.  Circulating your chi
3.  clenching the pc muscle to separate orgasm from ejaculation

1. The Abdominal breathing is no problem.  I have been well trained in breathing from the abdomen because of previous training in theater and meditation.  However, I am struggling with the timing of things...the book tells me to clench my pc muscle and circulate my chi upward as I INHALE.  I am finding it much easier to clench the pc as I EXHALE, and am finding the upward circulation of chi to be impossible.  I do find that as I get closer to coming I have a tendency to inhale deeply and hold it...I am hoping that if I can break that habit I will have more success.

2.  I am familiar with the concept of chi from previous years of practicing tai chi.  However, as a trained biologist I have a mental block when it comes to truly believing in this energy source that flows through my body.  I have no difficulty understanding that each of my cells contains an electrical potential, but I laugh at the idea of being able to move the location of that electrical potential with my mind.  This mental blockage is preventing me from being able to relocate my feeling of stimulation from my dick up my spine to my brain.  If I jerk off enough and breathe heavily, I do start to feel light headed...is that it?

3.  Clenching the pc is not so hard.  It's the same muscle you use to stop yourself from going pee.  I have been working out this muscle by stopping my pee in midstream at least 3 times whenever I go.  I have also been clenching the muscle many times before I get up each morning (I am up to 60 clenches a day, adding 10 each week).

SHOWER PRACTICE.  I have been practicing the art of experiencing orgasm without ejaculation in the shower, and MIGHT have succeeded today.  I am very familiar with playing touch-and-go with myself while watching porn.  I can do that for hours and hours and days and days without ejaculating as long as I stay far away from the point of no return.  However, the book says that I should be able to experience orgasm, and even the involuntary muscle spasms in my dick without shooting my load...this requires taking things a little farther than I usually do, then using the pc muscle to stop the ejaculation.
Well, I might have done it today...I jerked off slowly in the shower with plenty of soap.  I tried my best to keep breathing and to circulate my chi.  When I knew I was close, I slowed down and just lightly tickled the underside of my shaft, just enough to bring me to the tipping point.  I waited until I felt the warmth of orgasm, then stopped touching and clenched the pc.  My dick did dance, but nothing shot out!  It certainly wasn't the best orgasm, but I am hoping that that will get better.
I do have that well-winded feeling like I just got laid, but without the total exhaustion that usually ensues.  My dick did go soft, so I restimulated it just to see if I could go for another round if I wanted...NO PROBLEM...I didn't get rock hard right away, but I definitely felt like I wouldn't mind a little more action.
Bottom line, my only complaint is that the orgasm was sub-par and I hope to improve that.  Also, if I can do the trick while still being stimulated then I can do it during sex and increase my stamina.
I will work on slowly adding a bit more stimulation beyond the point where I stopped this time and see if I can handle it.
